Joshua's Bungee Jump

 

 
Well somebody had to do it, so it might was well have been me. Victoria Falls, sight of the second highest Bungee Jump in the world - 111m (approx 350 ft) into the Zambezi River.

Careful Preparation...Still looking calm, cool, and collected.

 

 

"Are you sure these nylon straps are tied on tight enough?"

 

After the jump technician found out I was American, he tried to tell me I could chicken out if I wanted to go play on the kiddie slide at the McDonalds playground at the end of the bridge.

 

 

As much as I wanted to hit the kiddie playground, I shrugged him off and took my place at the edge. gulp...YIKES!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

The recoil was probably the scariest part. At the point you are about to start back up, the straps on your feet begin to tighten, only they feel like they are getting looser.

 

Finally, after hangin upside down for about two minutes with blood rushing to my head, they yanked me back up.
