Masai Village

 

To get the real village experience, we stopped at this Masai abode.

Between the ages of approximately 18-25 Masai men are called warriors, though they are as harmless as the heardsmen, which they really are.

 

Inside these earthen huts typically lives one family and their animals (goats, chickens, etc). There is one small window for smoke ventilation and certainly no electricity or running water. It was pitch dark inside so I didn't know what was inside until I got the above pictures developed.
